Gia Gaster

Gia M. Gaster is an Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Cheryl David. Her practice areas are concentrated in Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Adult Guardianships. If helpful to a family as part of the Estate Planning package, Gia can also assist with Confirmatory Adoptions and/or Name Changes.

Gia received her JD from The Elon University School of Law in December of 2018, in the second class to graduate from the two-and-a-half-year program. In 2016, Gia graduated from Guilford College where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies and Community Building with Honors, focusing on mediation and bridge building. Before coming to the Law Offices of Cheryl David, Gia was the sole practicing Attorney for Gaster Law, PLLC, in Greensboro, NC. Gia reveled in being on the Court Appointed List as a Guardian ad Litem for adult guardianships where she was honored to advocate for clients who otherwise might be exploited. She also built a “happy-making” practice offering legal assistance in Estate Planning, Adoptions, Amicable Divorce,s and Name Changes.

Gia’s passion for bridging divides began as a school bus driver for children with special needs for the Guilford County School System. From “her kids,” Gia learned that tenacity and courage will see us through tough times. Gia is a bourbon aficionado and a Saturday night grill master! And when not serving Clients, Gia enjoys spending time with her wife, Beth, her three children and granddaughter, and collecting vinyl records.
