Justin Plummer

Biography

Justin is an Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration Attorney with the firm. He is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Justin is also licensed as an Accredited Estate Planner and Estate Planning Law Specialist (AEP®, EPLS.) Justin obtained two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law and Psychology from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. While receiving his Juris Doctorate from the Appalachian School of Law in Virginia, Justin was awarded the Cali Book Award for Outstanding Legal Achievement in State and Local Government Law. Justin currently serves as a Legislative Committee member of the Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association.

Justin was drawn to the legal profession so that he could serve and help others after personally dealing with the loss of a loved one and seeing the hardships of dealing with the estate administration process. His favorite part of being an attorney is having the ability to help others with creating and executing a plan that works for his clients and their families, no matter their station in life. He is most passionate about meeting with clients on a one on one basis and assisting clients through the administration process.

Justin is also a member of the Greensboro Bar Association, Greensboro Estate Planning Council, North Carolina Bar Association, The North Carolina Bar Association Section of Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law and is a current member of the North Carolina  Bar Association Section of Estate Planning and Fiduciary Law Legislative Committee.  He is also a member of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. While not at work, Justin enjoys attending and playing live music, watching the Carolina Panthers, and hanging out with his wife Jena, daughter, and Pointer Holden.
